Logandran weds Leela Devi

I always love South Indian Tamil weddings- the saree, the colourful flowers, the garland, the nathaswaram, the rituals, the countless emotions, the food and everything about it. It is always spectacular and spellbounding.
Logandran and I had a traditional Hindu wedding in our favourite temple, Sri Maha Mariamman temple at Kota Kemuning, Klang, Malaysia.
Since the temple itself has a beautiful architecture design, we didn’t spend much time cracking our head to get grand decoration and mandap. The welcoming ranggoli kolam by ‘Siran Arts’ was a talk in the wedding. The spectacular rice kolam illustrated the image of a groom and bride riding horselooks like a red carpet of the event.
The wedding although was set to be simple, it was colourful enough to create a glorious impact. I wanted the wedding not to be set with a theme color, hence I came out with rainbow colored saree for my bridesmaid. but unfortunately, 3 of my bridesmaid couldn't turn up for understandable reason. The limited budget we had as we were setting up our new house  at the same time made us to really sit down and narrow down the to do list.

Being a brown skin, I made sure that I hired make up artist that could create  a magic while maintaining my skin tone. I had never regretted my choice of getting AIshu Ash from Makeup by Aishu. Aishu made me look like princess adorned with beautiful temple sets(personally handpicked by me). I choose to get a bright orange kancheepuram saree with violet pallu and matching embroidered blouse. My first saree is my engagement blue saree that I have matched with contrast yellow blouse(I didn't use the attached blouse piece)

Logan on the other hand choose to go for classic white silk vesti and silk shirt.

While I have my  bridesmaid wearing rainbow themed saree(each girl choose one colour sareeto complete the colour chart) Logan’s bestman wore green and blue themed shirt and vesti.

Our relationship is love hate relationship, we met through mutual friends, share an unexplainable bond and friendship before we decided to date for 6 years and tie the knot on the fated day.It was quite funny reminiscing as I have even try to matchmake him with my girlfriends which eventually failed. Now looking at him, I know why it never work out with anyone else for both of us.

We pay special attention to choose our photographer and videographer to capture every moment of our big day beautifully. Therefore we has Artsy photographer and Frixie production . Their professionalism was nicely balanced by their pragmatic & friendly energy.

We had everyone gather again for our reception in my hometown. This time round I decided to wear a gold lehengga complemented with turquoise shawl. The lehengga was close to my heart as I design stitched it on my own and handpicked each and every the embellishment for the lehengga. Logan look undeniably handsome in his suit.

it was indeed a celebration,We have good food, live band and surprise performance from our siblings.

I would say its a true big fat Indian wedding in the sense of everything: color, love, festivities!
