A step closer to Happier You
Whenever people ask me what i want in life, I used to always answer- HAPPINESS.
But i once realised, i have never been one step closer to what i wish for, for one sole reason. The fact that i never stop wishing but did nothing to achieve it.
How to be happy??? Asking this question is just like standing on the tip of iceberg.
Well, let me just some ways that had worked out on me:
1) Love yourself-
when you start loving yourself, you feel good about yourself, and when you feel good about yourself, you do good things for yourself. We spend so much time waiting to be loved, hoping love will find us, searching, yearning for that special love. Feeling empty and lost without it. Wanting someone to give us love and fill us up. Unfortunately, that’s not usually how life works. Loving yourself is mainly having self-respect which is the only dependable way to create love in your own life to share with others.
3) Pamper yourself-
You deserve to be pampered, go for massage, pedicure, manicure , facial, spa, which will not only helps you to look healthier and beautiful but eventually makes you feel stress-free after your log working hours in your office.
6)Plan for a holiday-
its not a sin to go for holiday after spending almost everyday in a four walled space accompanied by loneliness. Holiday doesnt always spell LUXURIOUS.it can be cheap but at the same time, Self- treating, if you do some research and didnt over doit.
7)Meditate, pray or sit in silence for 30 minutes. keep your mind empty and calm from everything No technology interuption, many people get the real self realization from meditation, why not us???
8) Follow Your Guts-
Next time you have a decision to make, and you're down to two or three options, just pick the one that feels right, and go with it. Never regret the decisions you make, though. Just live by the 3 C's of life: choices, chances, and changes. You need to make a choice to take a chance, or your life will never change.
9) Make enough money to meet your basic needs-
Your comfort may increase with your salary, but comfort isn't what makes people happy. It makes people bored. That's why it's important to push beyond your comfort zone to fuel personal growth.
10) If relationships with family and friends are unhealthy or nonexistent, and you are bent on moving, choose a location where you'll make about the same amount of money as everyone else; according to research, people feel more financially secure (and happier) when on similar financial footing as the people around them, regardless of what that footing is.
11) SMILE and FORGIVE

2) Be positive-
In the 70s, researchers followed people who'd won the lottery and found that a year afterward, they were no happier than people who didn't. This hedonic adaptation suggests that we each have a baseline level of happiness. No matter what happens, good or bad, the effect on our happiness is temporary, and we tend to revert to our baseline level. Some people have a higher baseline happiness level than others, and that is due in part to genetics, but it's also largely influenced by how you think

4) Learn something new-
take up classes to learn something new. e.g: dance class, new language, art class, pole dancing, music classes, cake decorating classes. you can even join few days courses if you think you you cant devote longer time. A skill can even help you to increase your bank balance.
5)Dress up-
its not wrong to look beautiful. take time to mix and match, add on scarves, brochures accessories or top coat. Dressing up is never meant to attract flirters around you.it helps you to feel confident, and the odd says, when you look confident, you deliver the best.its a physical magnet that helps your mental present at its best level.6)Plan for a holiday-
